I REEEEALLY like secular music. I have found that many of the gospel songs, though the words are inspiring....are not....well...........good musically. I don't really get into church music. I would love a gospel song with an 808.....even Kirk Franklin's music still sounds "churchy" which is okay if you like that kinda music...but I'm not into the 60s style rock and roll...or whatever period it comes from. The concept of being "born in sin" or "born sinners" is just that they believe you're a sinner until you're a Christian, but they don't think babies are culpable, so I don't really understand why they use that phrase either. The REAL founder of christianity, Saul of Tarsus, doesn't even acknowledge any historical accounts of Jesus (other than his hallucination), which you think he would do if Jesus had actually existed. I find them to be presumptuous and mostly uninformed. If a person tells me they studied and read what the believing scientists have to say and the non-believing scientists have to say and came down on the side of disbelief, I have no problem with them. I read message boards and realized a missed a lot of hints and clues through out the movie. for me-I guess trying to pay attention to all that was going on wasn't that easy while reading the movie. Why do I look 30-40 pounds lighter than I actually am?

I'm 5'4" and weigh 170 pounds, but when I went on mybodygallery.com and put up my stats, the results looked way bigger than I am. the ones that looked more like me were like the 130s and 140s. why is this? i'm so confused with the BMI and everything, cause technically I'm almost obese by my weight, but i don't look obese. people never guess my weight right, and guess in the 120s-140s IRL. i mean i don't get how i can have THAT much muscle, you know. the most I exercise is once a day, for 30 minutes, 5 days a week (which I need to increase.. as well as eat better, cause I want to be thin like I was when I was little :/)

Christians: Household differences on faith?

I am praying for a situation that has been annoying to be for a while. I am praying for patience regarding this. My wife believes in just going to church on sundays and that is the sum of what she believes. I know that when I got saved, God poured His Spirit on me, and I knew things in the Bible that I had never even read before-it was like I was "awakened". When I read them in the Bible, it was like "Wow-God already showed me that-I KNOW it is true!" If I had not had a Bible, God would have still revealed things to me, in whatever way He wanted to.

Should I ask this girl out?

I met her at a friends birthday celebration, we had gone up to a club in London. Drink was flowing and I danced with her quite a bit. I think that everyone should know how and when it's okay for them to express their opinion. So, yes, I will teach my children this. And I am a very good example of this. I voice my opinion but not in an obnoxious "I'm right, you're wrong" in your face kind of way. My mom taught me this way. She also taught me how to stand up for MYSELF physically if I am being bullied. That's the problem with how they teach bullying at school. They teach OTHER kids to step in and help the victim. I didnt pay pretty much any attention on music at comprehensive school and now i only know like 3 or 4 chords, so im totally newbie at this. I cant afford for instructor giving private lessons irl but i can browse online 24/7, where can i learn or take lessons but only free ones. I have neighbors who are somewhat friends, they are by no means religious. They're nice guys and like to have fun, but they are very anti-religious. They even have an upside down cross in their basement (which I was offended by) Should I not associate with people like this? Can a true Christian elaborate on this? My contention is that like Jesus proclaimed "few will find it" based on true repentance of sins, which is a part of the forgiveness He brings. I feel that by through God's word, our sins are revealed and then we must repent. I often debate a fellow Christian on this, she maintains that we all desire sin and in effect remain in this state (Romans 7) but does not understand that true repentance comes from being saved. It isn't a wishy washy proclamation to believe in Jesus that he died for our sins, if the Holy Spirit enters your heart and your proclamation is heart driven (internal) and God's knows the heart, taking the order of the Holy Spirit to be an obedient servant, I believe at this point you are actually saved and then we can pursue total righteousness instead of sin. Can anyone explain this better? Other words the born again sentiment as stated in the Gospel message.

Second, there are almost always going to be times when you can't think of something clever to say, it's okay. You can just say you can't really think of anything too much. Three, don't get so worked up about it. You want to get closer to this guy and know more about him, and let him know more about you, right? I had been a Christian for 3 years and recently I had studied the Christian faith.The bible Christian theology the evotion of Christian theology through out history, the history of the Christian church, the history of judaism,jewish culture in biblical times,Flavius Josephus, the history of the bible,both the old testament and new testament cannon,neurotheology which is how religion affects the brain and the alleged prophecies of the bible. Needless to say I discovered that Christianity is a deception and a belief system that polutes peoples minds with dillusion. However, at the same time I also recognize that it does do a lot of good for the community and in peoples lives and it did hekp me a lot to stay out of troubke and there are Christians I do respect, love and admire and I believe people have the right to believe in what they choose to. I now prctice buddhism though I really dont consider myself a buddhist. I agree with alot of buddhist ethics and i enjoy medition. I really dont give any importance to karma or reincarnation. Buddhism teaches to show love,compssion, equanimity towards all sentient beings and I agree with that but I have an internal tension against Christianity. I seriously believe that I can be a great opponent towards the expansion of this faith but dont know if it would be worth it to make myself an enemy of this religion. Christianity has and does continue to do a lot of evil however it also continues to inspire people to do a lot of good. I honostly believe the only reason people believe in this is because of ignorance and/or emotional attachment due to some benevolant experience in their lives. I heard a sermon the other day, a preacher was saying that the claims that Jesus made are so astronomical that one is obligated to preach them or speakout against them and denounce Jesus as a liar. But I dont know if what the gospels claim that Jesus said was what Jesus actually said, part of me wants to denounce this God dillusion n another doesnt

I have friends, but none of them feels like true true friends there just...selfish not inviting me to nowhere and always with there drama scene.
