Do they still teach you how to fight with a knife in the military?

I've seen the movies and shows where they have knife training in the military but I'm sure we all know what's depicted on those isn't what actually happens IRL. I was just wondering if they bother teaching you how to fight/defend yourself with a knife. It seems that with modern firearms and other artillery hand to hand knife combat is somewhat obsolete.
