Christians? why does the catholic church accept only 4 gospel for the NT?

and many gospels were called false gospels and if the 4 gospels are really good then why are there differences among them? let's say Luke said to repeat the last supper, and the others nothing, Matthew and Luke said the Lord's prayer and Mark nothing about that and John Jesus is more influenced by greek things by calling himself the bread of Life, the Light of the world and other things that can't be found in the rest of gospels and if Paul and his letters were first before those gospels then why didn't he mention nothing about jesus' life? like the virgin birth and the sermon of mount?
