Is it possible to successfully force Christian teens to listen to southern gospel music?

Suppose a set of Christian parents are fans of southern gospel music, and it is their favorite type of Christian music. However, their teenage children don't like it, and would rather listen to contemporary Christian and hip-hop. What would happen if the parents took away the other garbage (especially hip-hop), and tried to force them to replace that with southern gospel, or even to make them listen to southern gospel and bluegrass exclusively?
