What was the name of that movie where a kid got kidnapped?

There was a movie i remember one little scene i think it was based in the future, but a father tells his son to keep count of how long he can hold his breath under the pool (i believe it was a public pool) and the father hands him his watch. it shows water through a camera inside the pool for a while then the father comes out and sees his watch left and his son missing.
